As the weather warms up and flowers peak out, spring calls us to celebrate with festivals. We are excited to celebrate our favorite spring festivals in Bloomsburg, Danville, and Lewisburg, PA.
All local outdoor festivals are free and held rain or shine! They feature entertainment, hundreds of artisan craft vendors, great food, children’s activities, and local non-profit community organizations. So plan now and book your room to join the fun!
Lewisburg Arts Festival
Dates: April 7-27, 2024

Lewisburg Celebration of the Arts returns with a focus on photography. This year’s featured artist, Robert Haefner, epitomizes the theme of “Art in Focus.” An opening reception on April 7 features an exhibition of 50 of Haefner’s photographs. The exhibition will continue throughout the month and is a prominent part of Saturday, April 27th’s Art Festival.
Continuing a month of celebrating the arts, Mr. Haefner will lead a workshop on April 13 on “How to Make Your Photographs Stand Out.” Sign up now for this informative class.
April culminates a day of art on Market Street in Lewisburg on Saturday, April 27, from 10 am until 5 pm. The Arts Festival has a history of presenting unique works at the area’s premier juried art show. Alongside the art, you will find booths with high-quality crafts and specially selected food vendors. In addition, expect musical entertainment and children’s activities throughout the day.
Central PA Pretzel Festival
Date: Saturday, April 13, 2024
Time: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
The salty Pretzel Festival happens at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. Restaurants, food trucks, and catering companies will be answering the challenge of creating a pretzel-related dish for attendees to sample. Brace yourself for pretzel crusts, toppings, loaves of bread, and who-knows-what-else!
Renaissance Jamboree
Date: Saturday, April 27, 2024
Times: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
The annual Renaissance Jamboree returns to Downtown Bloomsburg, PA. Look for free entertainment, including live music from classic rock to blues to country, dance groups, and martial performing arts on the outdoor stages. In addition, there will be rides for kids and age-appropriate games.
Local arts and crafts vendors will display their artwork, including handmade jewelry, toys, fabric art, garden décor, and more. Non-profit organizations from three counties will have food and drinks, books, plants, and more to sell. Don’t forget to bring your appetite — there’ll be all kinds of homemade sweets, fair foods, and beverages.
Free parking is available at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds, with shuttle buses transporting attendees downtown.
Danville Spring Fling
Date: Saturday, May 4, 2024
Times: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Annual Danville Spring Fling will provide live entertainment and displays by over 200 vendors, including arts and crafts, food, and non-profits from the region.
The Spring Fling activities are located on Mill St, East, and West Mahoning Sts, East Market St, and Lower Mulberry Sts in downtown Danville. Parking is free on nearby streets and surfaced lots.
Bloomsburg Fire Department Carnival
Date: Saturday, May 4, 2024
Time: 2 pm – dark
The Bloomsburg Fire Department Carnival combines the fun of a street carnival with fair food to raise much-needed funds for the fire department. Come and play like a kid!
Ber-Vaughn Pool Carnival
Date: Friday, May 10, 2024
Time: 5 pm – 10 pm
The Ber-Vaughn Pool Carnival celebrates the beginning of summer. The home of the largest community pool in PA and its accompanying park bring in a local rock band and great food for an evening of fun.
International Harvester Red Power Showdown
Date: June 13-15, 2024
Time: 11 am – 6 pm
The International Harvester Red Power Showdown is an invitation for all owners and collectors of IH tractors. Seeing all types of classic tractors at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds is an extraordinary opportunity.
There’s no better time to get outdoors than a weekend getaway to the Inn at Turkey Hill, the Farmhouse, and Brewing Co. at Turkey Hill.
