What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna Valley than a getaway complete with wine and chocolate? Eight wineries invite you to their Columbia & Montour Wine and Chocolate Trail from February 10 -12 and 17- 19, 2017. It’s a perfectly delicious excursion not just for sweethearts but for groups of friends, too! You’ll sample wines from dry to sweet, still and sparkling, in the perfect Valentine’s colors of red, white, and rosé. You might sample a Chianti named ‘Cuddles’, or toast one another with ‘Forget Me Not’ (a Silver Medal winner at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition), though some might ‘blush’ at the thought! Visiting all eight wineries on the trail gives you a chance to win one of nine prize baskets, including a Grand Prize basket with gifts from all the wineries. All the wineries will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays these two weekends, though hours may vary. Participating in the trail is free, but some wineries may have tasting room fees.
